Fashion and Design Cluster. The visual identity of an innovative regional network.
Connections are the central visual theme of this project for a consortium linking universities and research centers with fashion and design companies.
Naming, graphics and communication
A good logo can be considered successful if it manages to communicate a subject and the purpose of its activity.
Naming, in this sense, must play its part and be complementary to the graphic marks.
That's why we chose to work with a synthetic monogram and an extended logotype
so they could then be used to keep the level of recognition and understanding always high.
A visual identity
designed around movement
All the visual elements of the identity project are designed around the idea that they arise from the movement of two simple shapes. Two thick strokes with rounded ends that can cross or overlap. They can be straight or curved and take on defined pairs of colors. The website is the ideal place to bring this identity in motion to life.
Not just graphic marks:
the photographic identity.
We turned the limited photo production budget into a strength, bringing the marks of the visual identity inside the images. Every overlap creates new tones, a sum of the colors in the frame. The dynamism of the results seems to us to well represent the cross-contamination that the Network aims to achieve among the companies and organizations that are part of it.
